R' Eliyahu Rabovsky, Rabbi
Rabbi Eliyahu Rabovsky grew up in Baltimore, MD, and received Smicha from Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim which he attended for 12 years – three of which were spent in Eretz Yisrael. He went on to learn in the Toras Chaim Community Kollel in Miami Beach for three years. He has served the Orthodox Rabbinical Board of Broward and Palm Beach Counties (ORB) as a Kashrus administrator and helps oversee the kashrus and integrity of the Boca Raton Community Eruv. Rabbi Rabovsky has served as our Rav since 1990, and his spiritual guidance and dedicated leadership have been a treasured asset for our community.
R' Yeshai Bane, Assistant Rabbi
Originally from Lawrence NY, Rabbi Yeshai Bane is a musmach of Beth Medresh Govoha of Lakewood where he served as program coordinator of the Lekahen Pe’er rabbinic training program. Previously he was a Talmid in Eretz Yisrael at Chevron and Brisk Yeshivas. For the few years prior to joining us at Young Israel of Boca Raton, Rabbi Bane had given shiurim to a wide audience – both live and on virtual platforms (including "AllDaf"). He has also published a selection of his Chidushei Torah and currently serves as an author and elucidator for ArtScroll.
Since he began his position as Assistant Rabbi in September 2021, Rabbi Bane has been providing Drashos and Shiurim, adding to our Torah atmosphere, and helping to uplift and inspire our membership. Rabbi Bane is developing specialized programming and initiatives on an ongoing basis, in response to the collective needs and preferences of our shul members.
